varnishes have been formulated to have the optimum level of clarity with the
least amount of sheen (Dead Flat) or low sheen (Satin). Use as a
protective finishing coat over decorative paint finishes to add durability,

Clear Coat Latex Protective Finish
Clear acrylic protective finish for
any painted finish will not yellow with age. Clear Coat is ideal for protecting
large wall areas and can be easily applied by roller. Protect Weathered
Crackle, Suede Impressions or Sand Tones in high traffic areas. NOTE: Many faux finishes require a substantial waiting
period before they should be coated with any varnish/clear protective coating.
This is true especially for crackle finishes and finishes with more than 3
layers.

Glaze (Scumble)
This translucent and durable water base glaze has a
one hour open time with optimum viscosity for maintaining textures on
vertical surfaces. Use for any decorative paint/ faux finish that universal
tints (not paint) are used to color the glaze such as marbling. wood
graining, exotic minerals bone, hide and overglazing. Clean up with soap and
water. Quarts only Coverage: 150 - 200 sq.ft.

Glazing Liquid
This is a transparent, non-yellowing color
blending liquid for producing decorative effects such as woodgraining,
antiquing, sponging, stencilling and rag rolling. It sets up quickly allowing
for multiple, same day applcations without bleeding. It is very low odor and
cleans up easily with soap and water. Intended for use as an interior faux
finish on walls, doors, trim, furniture, art projects and crafts. DO NOT
USE ON FLOORS OR COUNTERTOPS. Must be tinted prior to use. Mix with your own
colorants for faux finishing or select from McCloskey's
mixed colors Color Chart.

mixed glazes have a superior depth of color. These glazes glide on easily with
little spatterirng and dripping and can be applied with either brush or roller
for subtractive techniques. One or more colors can be applied over the BASE
COAT for stunning results. They can also be used with other Special Effects
glazes such as PEARL, OPAL, or METALLIC for even more decorating
