| Fine "antiques" can be instantly created with Special Effects Weathered Crackle Glaze. This glase is applied over a dry BASE COAT. A coat of interior latex flat paint is then applied as a top coat. The top coat will crack, revealing the base coat beneath. The dramatic crackle pattern really gives an age old effect. |  |

Imitate the fine crackle of porcelain and
ancient varnish with McCloskey's single part porcelain crackle glaze. Apply one
coat to the surface and it will crackle without additional top coats. Use
Asphaltum, Pickling White or any translucent color glaze to more vividly define
the crackle pattern. This effect require a base coat of latex paint, a coat of porcelain crackle and a final rub of glaze. |
