New pages for GRACO and Special Effects Texture Finishes
I have worked this past couple of weeks updating pages for the Graco 190es paint sprayer repair parts, MAGNUM ProX9 & ProX7 and the Faux Finishes Textures.
The Graco 190es has been made in several models and series. The scope of it is a little confusing but they all have been brought together one one page with all stand and cart models represented.
The Faux Texture page has been expanded with the addition of additional pages highlighting the McCloskey Special Effects Quartz Accents and Textured Lime Wash. Quartz Accents is a speckled slightly coarse sand finish which can be made even more brilliant by adding an optional glitter component to the mix. The colors have been reproduced from actual product samples. Although the computer cannot accurately mimic the sparkle of the glitter the colors do come out pretty well – at least on my monitor.
McCloskey’s Textured Lime Wash is a beautiful effect that can be colorwashed over any color basecoat for a softer, cloudier kind of appearance. If desired, this can then be frescoed with a translucent color glaze to give even greater depth of tone. Just look at the page to see several color systems of this fabulous technique. I have scanned the color chips so you can see the base color, the lime washed effect and the glazed lime wash effect. the names of the base coat and glazes are under the scans so you can identify the one you like best. Of course, the lime wash can be put over any color base coat and is not limited to the ones on the page.
